Hello all, I show that "Game of Thrones" is present and has all episodes 1-7 on demand at this time. If you have an error message or do not see the content please reboot your cable box by unplugging it for 20-30 seconds, then reconnect it.

Game of Thrones Season 7, episode 6 is showing up On Demand, but it is not free (like it should be since I subscribe to HBO). Instead, they want to charge me a fee to "buy" it.

I'm having the same problem.  I've watched EP 1-5 with HBO subscription but EP 6 has only the choice to buy the episode for $3.99 or the season, no free choice like previous episodes and even EP 7.  

 

Has anyone found a fix for this?

I see what you mean, I will notify the network so they can correct this if it was done in error. Only the network (HBO) has the ability to post their content free on demand or as paid content. Please check this title again within the next 24 hours to see if this has been changed, if not please reach out to HBO and request the content be added on demand free.

I send a message to HBO through the Contact Us page on their website.  I'm sure the problem will be fixed in a few minutes. :=)

OMG, Amir. Tom_D58 was being sarcastic. Why does the customer need to reach out to HBO (via their general contact link on their web site, no less) when Xfinity is the one selling us the service? Shouldn't YOU be contacting HBO, perhaps through a more direct line of communication, on our behalf. This is just plain silly.

I actually got a reply from HBO and they are saying the problem is with Comcast/Xfinity:




Hello Thomas,

 

Thank you for writing to HBO.  If you are an HBO ON DEMAND subscriber, programs that are listed on the schedule atwww.hboondemand.com should be available to you free of charge.  Anything in excess of what is currently required on the On Demand Schedule is part of the Expanded On Demand feature, for which providers can charge an additional fee.

 

Please go to www.hbo.com and scroll down to the section that says other HBO Channels.  Here you will see HBO ON DEMAND.  All of your questions involving this channel will be answered by clicking on this title.  It will also give you the schedule of programs that are on HBO ON DEMAND for each month.  

 

For questions about the Expanded On Demand feature, please contact your cable or satellite provider and ask to speak with a supervisor.

This is what I see in my On Demand list for GOT S7.  S7E6 should say On Demand and instead says Buy.
