What videos are you trying to watch?

Are any videos working? If so, which videos?

Thanks,
Joe

Try using a different web browser and let me know if it works. This is not a permanent solution but it will help us narrow down your issue.

Also, please go to www.xfinitytv.com/computer and copy the information you see on-screen and paste it in this thread so we can further assist you.

I am having the same problem and I have been for about three weeks now. I am familiar with all of the troubleshooting options, as I have performed them all. Can anyone help me please?!

I am sorry but Firefox 9 is currently not supported because it is still in a beta state. Please use the most current version, Firefox 8, for now.

Not all videos may be working on Google Chrome 16. Google Chrome automatically updates your browser without your knowledge so it may have worked a few days ago then all the sudden stopped.

In the meantime, please use one of these browsers to watch videos:

Internet Explorer 8 (IE9 is out but many people are having video playback issues with it, I am further investigating)

Safari 5.1

Firefox 8.0

I will update this thread when Google Chrome 16 is fully compatible.

Thank you for your feedback and sorry for the inconvenience,

Joe

Re: error 6002

joe, i can't thank you enough for helping me understand. after 4 different conversations with comcast , your explanation is the only one that made sense. funny cause magically it started working again with google chrome 16. i am just happy that i finally got to watch the dexter finale. maybe they should have a phone selection to talk with people that understand xfinitytv.

I updated the thread above to let users know that videos should now be working in Google Chrome 16. If you have not seen it yet, please try it out.

If you are trying to use IE9 and are having video playback issues, please try that browser again also. Our team has recently sent out a fix.

Thanks,
Joe
