How much data (gb's) is used when viewing an xfinity movie of about 1-hour in length?  Thanks . . .

Re: data usage

It can vary a lot depending on the encoding of the video, encoded resolution dimensions, & encoded bit rate, etc.    Many videos are encoded so they will stream at different rates/quality & the player detects which to stream.    (1080p video at 15,000kb/s bitrate can be about 7gig per hour for a mpeg2-ts).

Typically though, tv shows watched at the Comcast Site and it's web page player, a show like GoodWife would be about 300meg for an hour  (includes commercials).
