where can I get step by step instructions on how to connect my smart tv (Samsung series 6,6700) to comcast, no cable box, but I understand I shouldnt need one.

Just for the heck of it, I did a google for:         connect my smart tv (Samsung series 6,6700) to comcast

 

and got this:

I have a Samsung SmartTV and I have never heard that it DOESN'T need a cable box.

Every TV needs some kind of device. You may have acces to certain apps on your smart tv but you would Benedict the appropriate subscription for access

Ah.  It is true that my SmartTV does NOT need a cable box to watch my SmartTV apps like Netflix, etc.
