cannot get tv listings grid

am trying to get my tv listings grid and get the following 'msg':

Enter Your Zip Code

First, let's make sure we have your channel lineup.
DAC: 112_1
 
and there is no way to enter a zip code ANYWHERE!
 
how do i get this information????

Comcast has selected a recommended TV lineup based off of your location. If it is incorrect, click the "View more service areas" at the bottom of the pop-up box. You will now be able to edit your zip code.

joe - - there is no pop-up box - below the main page header is a box with the msg 'TV Listings recommended by ComcastChange Location'  and another 'You're using the default grid. Change Location to get customized listings.There was a problem loading the grid, reload your browser.'

- clicking on the hilited 'change location' takes me to the screen - Enter Your Zip Code/First, let's make sure we have your channel lineup/DAC: 112_1   where i cannot enter the zip code

- reloading the browser only brings back the same screen

- it is not possible to get the zip code entered

- within the grid that does present itself i can see the favorites, hd only, movies, sports, etc buttons as well as the hrly headings at the top

- the grid itself is greyed out

- never found "View more service areas" at the bottom of any pop-up box on my page!

i see from reading the boards that this is a common problem and its source appears to be on the comcast end rather rather than the user end; it's unfortunate that comcast rolls out such a poor product.

 

lemme know if/when you come up with a work-around or if you get comcast to go back to the format that really worked!

i still cannot see the tv listings grid

 

i still cannot change my zip code - the last time i tried there was what i assume is an error code [

DAC: 124_26] and it could not be removed in order to enter the correct zip code
 
please give me the next option/work around

Please try deleting your cookies and cache and then try again.

This issue is confirmed to be on xfinitys side, not client side.

 

I talked to comcast tech help and they told me its an issue with their website and that they are working on it.

 

The problem i have with this is why dont they hire someone that knows what they are doing to fix

the tv listings.

 

 

Anyone that can see the grid please post your info so we can try what works for you.

Browser - antivirus - router -

 

I have tried

Shutting off my antivirus

even uninstalled my antivirus incase one of the shields was blocking

Shutting off my firewall

Deleted cookies

Deleted browser history

Deleted browser cashe

Firefox

Inernet exploder

Chrome

Updated everything associated with my browsers

 

I have four computers and none of them can see the grid and most buttons on that page are dissabled.

I tried to view it from my works network and no love there either.

my reply box does not have that button and i cannot change the delineating lines to see if it is hiding out somewhere - sorry.

Ours constantly has the wrong zipcode. Sometimes changing it in the pop-up box works. But now it won't change at all and goes back to the default zip code. Completely useless and frustrating.

I have the same problem on my XP computer with service pack 3, but my vista computer works just fine???

Not one of my browser work google crome, firefix, and IE.???????????????????????

Nothing. The button does not work or do anything, and neither do any of the other bottons, like "Favorites" "HD Only" "Movies", etc. This problem started when the new Comcast format was introduced. I had no problems before and no new software was loaded onto my PC since.

all was fine until 2 days ago, spoke w comcast tech, did the cookies thing, didn't help; same screwy tv grid..how do we get this back to where it should be? missing stations, starts listing @ 24 rather than 2,

very weird...has anyone figured this out?  skips lots of comcast stations...help? suggestions?  changing location doesn't help, the zip is correct.  thanks, anyone

Me changing my browser to fix your communications corporation's bad website issue is not a valid solution. Can you get someone else on this?

02720, Fall river MA   a recent problem and apparently, I'm not alone; not the end of the world but very annoying for something that worked fine until 2 wks ago ..have taken to using TV guide grid instead..any answers would be appreciated. when I spoke w tech and followed his instructions, it messed up a bunch of other stuff, more annoying

Try using a different web browser and let me know if it works. This is not a permanent solution but it will help us narrow down your issue.

really? well since it looks like many Comcast customers are in the same situation, with none of your "expert" advice working, I'd say it's you who are out of step, not us....will stick w the tv guide grid, it works and when I contact them, I actually get a reply; thanks for absolutely nothing

you have NOT RESPONDED to my last inquiry of 6/27!

 

but in the same thread you are still telling others with the same problem to try a different browser!  is that the ONLY SOLUTION that you and xfinity have to offer?  and that solution does NOT work for ANY of us!

 

not only does the xfinity tv listing stink - the solution stinks!

 

you should be embarassed to continue to offer the same inappropriate solution!  and you should be embarassed for not responding to my post since 6/27/12!

june 27th is the LAST time anyone tried to deal with the fact that i cannot view tv listings!  i have been through the try another web browser, send a screen print, etc!  no one has answered my ?s re what the codes mean that won't let me enter a zip code.  wth is going on!  your customer service and tech knowledge is severely lacking in quality!  I WANT MY TV LISTINGS FIXED!

Make sure that you have the correct time and time zone selected on your computer.

 

Are you using any anti-virus software or pop-up blockers?

yes i use norton 360 anti-virus software and a pop-up blocker - who doesn't?

Can you try disabling your anti-virus software and then try the TV Listings page again? No matter what the result is, please re-enable your anti-virus and let me know the results.

went to the listings website and the listings for 19103 phila were shown
chgd location to 07740/eatontown digital
got - There was a problem loading the grid, reload your browser.
reloaded browser - got NOTHING!!!!!!!!
chgd zip code to 19103 - got listings

got listings up to channel 97
kept zip code 07740 - chgd to cable standard
got - There was a problem loading the grid, reload your browser.

hello, I wrote, same issue, very nice tech guy(Ted I believe) called, no help though; I now use TV guide for listings, no problem, and, more info too, so try that; must be system failure as it seems to be happening all over comcast territory..good luck

thanx cathivma - been usin tvguide a nd zap2it  -  just like to let comcast joe know that nothing gets fixed with comcast solutions  -  need to keep them in the loop!

Cancel that I hit the compatability view button next to the refresh button on the toolbar and all is well.

The TV listings keep going to the default grid no matter how many times I change to my zip code even though I an signed in.

 


This is a pain as I always loose my favorites and it will no longer allow me to enter favorites.

 

How can I get this to work again.  This is the second time that this has happened in the past year.
