cannot access my recordings, signal issue?, please help

cannot access my recordings, signal issue?, please help

Our cable box was replaced because it was buzzing and running hot.   Tech decided to lower signal.  Why, I do not know.   Immediately my recordings were moved to deleted folder, and he left it at at and told me I could get them back by myself since it there were so many recording I guess.  Now I could not access any recordings new recordings.  Comcast tryed to fix problem and it lasted for few hours, and then Comcast did a full diagnostic and there was no fix.   Still claims to be working on it.  My DVR now shows I have 2 boxes in the Living Room, and now my DVR manager on computer shows new recordings intact, but I still cannot access on them with my TV.   Is it a signal issue?
