can't connect to xfinity DVR server

can't connect to xfinity DVR server

Since Nov. 23rd I have been unable to control my DVR set top box through my PC.  The DVR is working normally with the comcast remote.  I'm using Windows Vista.  I have tried Internet Explorer as well as my normally used Chrome browsers.  I have rebooted the DVR several times.  I have cleared my browsers Cookies, History, and Cache.  I've checked my firewall, malware and other settings.  Here are the issues:

 

  • From the TV listings page I can see the channel line up; I cannot change the channel.  I get a pop-up saying an error has occurred try again later
  • From the /mytv/drv page my recorded shows do not update
  • In My Recordings, I cannot play recorded shows
  • In Scheduled Recordings, I cannot modify and delete existing recordings
  • I cannot create new recordings.
  • From Manage Cable Boxes & DVRs, I cannot display the next 5 recordings or show the DVRs name on the TV

Any help would be appreciated.
