The xfinity app is a great app and love the ability to stream videos, but have a lot of problems with freezing while waiting for traffic on the internet (at least that is what I think is happening). Has any consideration been given to allowing caching? This would make it so much better and would allow the use of it while traveling and an internet connection is not available.

Or is there a way to do that and I just don't know how?

the xfinitytv app only works in WiFi,  if you are having issues with freezing then you must not have a good wifi connection.
