Xi5-P TV Box Question.

Xi5-P TV Box Question.

I recently purchased a second home that has Comcast service.  I have three Xi5-P TV boxes in addition to a DVR box.  I am at this house six months out of the year.  While not here I continue to pay for my Comcast TV and Internet service.  My other house has DirecTV service, which doesn't have the Pac-12 Network.  Since I'm paying for my Comcast TV service, would my Xi5-P TV box work from my other house?  I didn't know if it was an internet operated device or if it had to be in close proximity to my main system.  I can bring my DirecTV receiver up and hook it up to my existing dish here and watch the NFL Sunday Ticket that I pay for at my other house and thought maybe I could do the same with my X1.

No, the Xi5 will only work when connected to both the XB3 and DVR together. They aren't plug and play.

Re: Xi5-P TV Box Question.

I can watch it on my Xfinity Stream.  Its just more of a hassle to then broadcast it to my tv than if I could just bring up the channel on my TV.  I thought it was worth a try.
