Xfinity app controlling my HD Receiver

Xfinity app controlling my HD Receiver

I currently have the RNG110 receiver hooked up to my tv and I want to be able to change the channel using my iPad.  I've gone through the setup instructions available on the OnDemand, but it did not help.  I installed the app as it instructed, but it is showing that there are no eligible receivers.  Is there a setting I have to change, or am I out of luck?  I am able to watch ondemand material on my iPad, but that's it.

Any information will be appreciated.
