The requirements state that I must have a video play card!?  What is that and do I have one?  I did not purchase anything separately so is it something that is built in?  How do I find out if I have one and if I do not, how do I get one?  Thanks!

Before we look into your video card, I want to see if you meet all the other requirements. Please answer the questions below so I can further assist you.

1) If a video didn't work, are you getting an error message, blank screen, etc.?

2) What video did you try watching?

3) Please go to www.xfinitytv.com/computer and copy the information you see on-screen and paste it in this thread so we can further assist you.

Please be as specific as possible.

Thanks,
Joe

Re: Xfinity Video Player

Hey Joe,

I am having the exact same problems and it is driving me crazy! All I want to do is relax and watch my favorite tv show but cant cause something is causing a problem.

To answer the questions you set out before:

1. No videos were working online, I was getting an error 400 message and it refuses to play anything.

I have all new browsers explorer and chrome, as well as, newest version adobe flash.

2. I tried watching True Blood

3. This is the message I have been getting for three days now, even after contacting 4 different customer services.      Thank you and I sure hope you can help me out on this one.

This video cannot be played.

Sorry, this video is currently unavailable. (Error 400)

Please check back soon.

Try un-installing then re-installing Microsoft Silverlight completely. Go here for step-by-step instructions:

Let me know the results.
