Xfinity TV

Some shows that I have recorded show up in my recorded shows on the Xfinity TV website on my computer (which shows 89% full) but do not show up on my X1 DVR (which only shows 82% full).  I have noticed that at least one of these shows should have recorded when my cable was out.

Re: Xfinity TV

I'm not sure if you are asking a question or not, but you are correct in your observation.  Your cloud DVR and your physical DVR can sometimes get out of sync.  Just like you said, you had a scheduled recording that took place when your cable was out.  What happened was the show got recorded on the cloud DVR but failed to record on your physical DVR.  When you watch a recorded show through the Xfinity TV website, your computer is not connecting to your DVR to access that show, but it is connecting to a Comcast server somewhere to access the show.  That is why you could unplug your DVR and still watch your recordings through the Xfinity TV website or Xfinity TV apps.

I hope this makes sense.
