Xfinity TV on old MacBook Pro.

I've got old 2007 MacBook Pro (MA895LL) running El Capitan that, up until recently, was able to stream video on the Xfinity TV website very well in Safari, even in fullscreen mode.

Lately...not so good. Stuttering is constant. It even happens on the SD versions of channels.

I suspect that one of the near-weekly updates to Flash has thrown the final wrench onto the camel's back. Either that or some "tweaking" done by the Xfinity web developers.

Anyone else notice a recent degradation in the streaming performance?

BTW, I can stream movies on this computer just fine with Plex so it doesn't look to be something that's occured on the computer itself.
