Xfinity TV episodes are grainy and pixilated.

Xfinity TV episodes are grainy and pixilated.

I have the latest Silverlight 5 and the latest Flash Player 11.7 but the movies and TV episodes are grainy and "pixilated", the frames freeze up while the audio continues, and the Full Screen mode is not useable at all.  I have to use the lowest available resolution to see anything at all.  But it definitely stinks.  What gives?

well, if this is on your computer the two things to look at, how new is your computer, how much ram does it have and how fast is your internet connection.

Hi rog286713,

Sorry I did not respond sooner.  I am not used to this email site and had not checked it for a while.

I have been working on some other things on my system and was a bit distracted.

I have a Gateway 510s x86 with WinXP Home with Internet Explorer 8 and Google Chrome.

I have a pentium 4 at 2.93 GHz with 1526 MB RAM.  Speed is 3.35Mbps down and  0.87 Mbps up.

I hope this helps.

And I'll check here for emails sooner.
