Xfinity TV app for android - favorite channels

Xfinity TV app for android - favorite channels

The app on my Samsung I727 installed two months ago allows me to Filter by favorite channels.  I just installed the same app on a Google Nexus 7 and the favorite channel filter check box is not there?  Am I missing something?

Did you install the Xfinity TV App or the Xfinity TV Player App?

I am signed in.  The favorites are marked when I scroll through the 800+ channels

The "About" lists the app as Version 1.6.1.003

I just downloaded it from the Play Store

Is there any way you can send me a screenshot of the filters and e-mail it to info[at]xfinitytv[dot]com? I would like to further look into this.

Hello,

You don't need the tv app player it works without it but you might have to take a couple of more clicks to get to it.

The OP did not ask about the tv player app. He/she stated it is not installed. No one has suggested that it be installed. Of course the Remote app works without it since they are 2 different apps which are for different things.

I have attempted to email the pictures of the two different Filter screens.

The email address info@xfinitytv.com comes back as undelivered?

The last two posts do not appear to address the problem.

A fix will go in with the next app update and resolve this issue.

 

As of now, there is no timetable or launch date but we hope that it will be released shortly.
