Xfinity TV app fails to download recording ("Take To Go") on iPad

Paying for full X1 service and this app continues to be dysfunctional when it comes to using "Take To Go".  I have the option to download DVR recordings and most start - but they always time out.  The app works perfectly otherwise, all channels stream without issue.  I have tested on multiple mobile devices and I always see the same behavior.

 

Searching this forum yeilds a number of threads complaining about the issue.  Any updates on when Comcast expects to resolve this problem?

Good luck with that!  I have yet to see an official Comcast comment about the downloading issue.  I think if they don't acknowledge it, then it just doesn't exist.
