Xfinity TV & iPad issue with connecting to TV.


I have a 1st gen iPad and just recently downloaded the XfinityTV app.  I am trying to connect my iPad to a 47" LED Samsung TV.  I am using a digital AV adapter from Apple that connects via HDMI to TV.  When I try to play a show on the app, I get sound through the TV but no video.  Other apps such as YouTube, the video and sound both come through fine.  


Is this a known issue for the XfinityTV app?  Is the app even compatible for that "video" output?   It continually just plays the video on the iPad and runs the sound through the TV.  Until I switch to a working app and the TV takes over video.

video out is disabled by the app you cannot output it to a tv.  If you have an xbox 360 you can do it that way.
