Xfinity TV Remote App won't change channels or record

The channels populate, but as of about a month ago, I am no longer able to change channels or record shows. I am definitely logged in and my region has been properly set, I have changed nothing. It just stopped working. Actually the 'Watch on TV' and 'RECORD' buttons appear to be greyed out. Any suggestions?

I have the exact same problem as of a few weeks ago. Incredibly annoying...
