Xfinity TV Go playing in car

Xfinity TV Go playing in car

My car is equipped with a theater package so I can connect my iPad and stream movies from the ipad to the kids' screens in the backseat.

I wanted to use the Xfinity TV Go app to periodically change the movies.  The car recognizes the iPad but the screen states something about not being able to play due to security restrictions and that movies can only play on mobile devices.

Is there any work around for this?  Anybody have any ideas on how I can get this to work?

Thanks!

Re: Xfinity TV Go playing in car

I should mention that I'm trying to play movies that I've downloaded from the Xfinity TV Go app onto my IPad. The movies play on the iPad, but won't go through to the car TV Screens.  Since I get an error message, I know that the communication is working, but the video won't play.

The recorded asset will only play within the Ipad...  it will not stream  out to any other device.

Re: Xfinity TV Go playing in car

I reviewed the terms and conditions, and I do not think that what I want to do violates that agreement.  It's a shame that it won't work. I was hoping there would be a work-around.

Thank you for your answer!  I appreciate it.
