Xfinity TV App

Xfinity TV App

I'm trying to use an external projector with Xfinity TV Go from my iphone 5.  I'm using a Lightning Digital AV adapter.  The message I'm getting is "Security Issue :: 3338 (1000942) This content is not playable via the current external device.  Please disconnect the device and try again."

 

I've been able to use the projector using other apps such as YouTube, so it appears to be limited to the Xfinitiy app only.

 

i have tried to do this with an iphone 6 and i have the same issue. i have spoken with apple support and they suggest it is the app since it is not an issue with a particular phone. 

 

i have also re-loaded the app to ensure it was the latest version.

 

any suggestions to fix this
