Xfinity TV - App

Hi,

 

I have the new Xfinity TV app. This is the one which requires you to sync at home first and let's you watch DVR while travelling.

 

Devices/Services

X1 device with cloud services

TECHNICOLOR tc8305c gateway

Samsung Android tablet

 

I enter my username/pw and then get the following message:

W're unable to detect your inhome XFINITY WiFi network.

 

First time using XFINITY TV or X1 DVR on this device? You must be on your in0home XFINITY WiFi network for this initial setup.

 

Please note I am connected directly to the wireless gateway, not my wireless router.

 

I've spoken to multiple departments at Comcast and so far no go. They even have a ticket in for me

 

Any assistance is appreciated
