Xfinity DVR jumping by 5-10 minutes or to end

Hello,

 

My DVR recently started jumping ahead when I watch a show that I have recorded.  It can be minutes or all the way tot he end.  i see some other posts about this as well.  Can someone assist?  any thoughts?  It seems to be a software issue as reported by others.

My Motorola box does the same thing and it makes me mad. In order to get the box fixed they want me to go to X1. No problem except they want ME to pay to ship the new box. Comcast just plain su-ks! Good luck.
