Re: Xfinity App on ?Surface Pro 4

Sorry for the inconvenience. The following information includes our requirements for our XFINITY Stream Portal (where you can view OnDemand content):

Windows PC Requirements

If you access the XFINITY Stream portal on a Windows PC, your PC must meet the following minimum requirements.

Hardware

  • 3 GHz Intel Pentium 4, AMD Athlon 3400, or faster processor
  • 128 MB RAM
  • Video card with 64 MB memory

Supported Operating Systems

  • Windows 10 (Desktop mode)
  • Windows 8 (Desktop mode)
  • Windows 7

Supported Web Browsers

Browser Plug-Ins and Settings

  • Adobe Flash Player version 15.0.0.152 or later (download Flash)
  • JavaScript enabled
  • Cookies enabled

Streaming Requirements

To stream programs on the XFINITY Stream portal:

  • You must be an XFINITY TV customer (X1, non-X1, and XFINITY Stream package).
  • The program you want to access must be on a channel included in your channel lineup. For example, your channel lineup must include HBO for you to view HBO programs.
  • You must have a compatible cable modem or wireless gateway.
  • Your computer must be connected to your in-home XFINITY network or an active Internet or mobile connection for TV Everywhere programming. Using a mobile wireless network may incur data charges; check your wireless provider's rate plan for details.

Note: An XFINITY Internet subscription is required to stream live TV and certain On Demand content. In addition, paid content such as a pay per view event is not available on the portal.

If your device/account meets all the above mentioned requirements, you can stream your TV service by simply going to this link: https://tv.xfinity.com/
