XFIITY TV Android App - Unable to detect in-home XFINITY WiFi Network

I am trying to set up the XFINITY TV app on my Samsung S 3 phone but keep getting a message that my home wifi network cannot be detected.  I am attempting to set up from home and I've tried logging in with both my userid as well as my full email address with no difference.  I've also turned off the mobile data on the phone trying to make sure the wifi was the only connection but continue to get the can't find xfinity wifi network.  Can anyone help me figure out what's going on?  I have the comcast modem connected to my own router.

I had the same problem. I called comcast and they put in a trouble ticket in for me.

About 4 days later 2 level support called me to try again and it is working for me now.

Give them a call and enjoy.
