X1 app won't work Error 12012

Last week there was an update for my iPad X1 TV app and now I can't watch TV on it.  I get a "subscription required Error 12012" message.  I have the needed subscription and have watched TV on the iPad prior to the update.  


I had the same problem about 5 months ago and after the Xfinity tech service worked on my account for about 2 months they finally got the app to work.  Now, after the update, the app won't work again.  


This is VERY frustrating!  Can someone please help???
