X1 TV website problem

X1 TV website problem

When trying to use the x1 tv website from my computer I get this message

Something's not right here

We are having trouble adding this device to your account.

Please give us a call at 1-800-XFINITY and mention error 11700


After speaking with 5 agents no one has an answer as to why I am getting it. It was working properly and 24 hours later it wasn't. The error code means there are too many registered devices. I have checked the device mangaer and there are no registered devices. I am going on day 5 of it not working and have tried erasing Adobe Flashplayer,reseting my modem,sending a refresh signal, reseting my computer to factory settings, installing the app on 3 different types of devices and 4 different computers. I get the same error message each time. I would like to know if anyone has a solution to the problem

I called 1-888-824-8988 and spoke to Advanced Tech support after hours and hours of research and they were able to clear the device manager from their end in less than 10 minutes! Do not bother calling any other number, 5 different techs could not fix this issue in 5 days at the regular 1-800-Xfinity
