Why can't I change the channels from my desktop or laptop since the website has been updated?

Why can't I change the channels from my desktop or laptop since the website has been updated?

Since the website has updated there is no way to change the channel from a laptop/desktop computer. I can change it from the Xfinity tv app but not from the website. Is there any way get this feature to work again?

That feature was removed during the reconfiguration of the TV website.

So I also can't chose on demand movies from desktop to warch them on TV anymore?

 I am having the same issue. I want to record a program using my computer, not my phone or an app. I can't do it and it is incredibly frustrating.
