my tv was unplugged for a week for renovation. Do I need to reactivate? How do i do it?

Your tv being unplugged isnt bad...the cable box being unplugged could be.  If you have reconnected everything and double-checked the input and output cables are correct and still have no connection, you should call into Comcast and ask that the box be refreshed with its entitlements.
