Website says I can only watch a program "at home" - I am at home connected by ethernet to modem.

Up until this week I had no problems watching TV shows on demand at the Xfinity website.  Now all of a sudden it wants to force me to use TVGo on some shows and for others I cannot watch at all because it says I am not at home.  I am at my desktop which I have used to watch TV on-line for months, and I am connected to the internet by an ethernet cable so how can it be getting this WRONG??  Can't they tell I am connected to the modem by a hard wire?  Come on!  Two phone reps disconnected me when they could not answer this question and a chat rep said it was in the queue to be fixed and would be fine in 1 hour - not fixed.
