Watching on demand content

I'm running the xfinity tv remote app and I've noticed that if I want to watch something on-demand, like a tv-show, that the iphone app will change the screen to that of the program, but I am still required to press 'ok' on my regular remote.

Is this the expected behavior?  I'd like to be able to use the iphone app for everything with the exception of turning on/off the set top box.

Is there any way to use the iphone app to play on demand content without having to press 'ok' on the standard remote?

Re: Watching on demand content

If the show you are selecting to tune is not part of your package or is a program that has a separate fee you will be required to press OK on your remote to complete the purchase.  Any free program should just tune on your TV.  Can you confirm if this is the case?

Thank you,

Re: Watching on demand content

It was a free program.  More specifically it was the first episode of "Almost Human" from FOX.

We will have to look into this further.  Can you direct message me with your name and phone number so we can look into your account?
