Watching TV shows online

Watching TV shows online

Lots of TV ads being run about being able to watch TV shows online.  Unfortunately, this mechanism is currently unworkable.  When attempting to watch a show the show will start, however, as soon as the commercial starts everything dies.  Sometimes the commercial loops and will not quit.  Sometimes the commercial start yelds a blank screen and then hangs.  When issues begin there's no way to recover and get back to the movie.  I understand the need for commercials, but they end the show.

I thought the new modem/router devices might improve watching shows online with the major increase in speed.  Sadly they have provided no improvement.

Re: Watching TV shows online

I'm trying to watch Mountain Men episode "Ticking Clock" online. I am logged in but it keeps telling me a History subscription is required. Which I do subscribe to and have been watching this show weekly online. Can anyone help?
