WatchEspn App on Ip[hone 4s not working

I have downloaded the WatchEspn App onto my iphone 4s, I selected Comcast Xfinity as my provider since I have the service, but when I go to select a channel/event to watch, all I get is a black screen on my fun with a done button in the top corner.  Why is this.  I can watch from my computer, but I want to watch it from my phone.  Please help.
