I am a comcast TV and internet subscriber with all espn channels. I cannot use the watchESPN app on iphone or on xbox or through watchespn.com. When I login it begins to load, but says "This network is not included in your TV subscription." I can watchespn through xfinitytv.comcast.net so obviously I am a subscriber.
The same here. The only reason I subscribe to Comcast is for this feature, and the last 5-6 weeks have been a severe disappointment in both the reliability and support in the ESPN/Xfninity TV Website.
Same here! Comcast support!!!! Please do something!!!!
same problem here.. it is really annoying me.. I contact comcast and they say it is ESPN because they "only authenticate you have a comcast account"... contact ESPN and they say I need to contact my cable company.. so basically this is useless unless I want to watch some obscure Division 3 basketball game
Well I'm glad other users are having problems as well. I have used this feature many times before on both my xbox and iphone. I love it but I couldn't watch any of the bowl games this weekend. Any solutions comcastjoe? I don't know who to contact about this problem.
Hi all,
Is ESPN working on your TV and On Demand through your TV?
Are you signing in with your Comcast.net e-mail addresses or Comcast ID?
Thanks,
Joe

Yes ESPN is working on my regular TV and I haven't tried to access On Demand. I assume I am signing in with my comcast ID. It logs in with no problem and has the xfinity logo also. I have tried primary and secondary accounts as well. Isn't my comcast.net email address the same as my comcast ID??

What type of cable subscription do you have? (Digital Starter, Digital Premium, etc.)
Thanks,
Joe

I think its Digital Starter? or expanded basic? I'm not sure what it is called now. Anywho. I get ESPN on my TV and like i said, if I login to xfinitytv.comcast.net.

Hi all,
As of 12/20/12, ESPN content was no longer available to all customers. As long as you had a cable box with On Demand, you will have access to ESPN content On Demand and streaming.
Now, to have access to ESPN On Demand, you have to be subscribed to the linear ESPN channel with a Digital Preferred package or higher.
Sorry,
Joe

Now we're getting somewhere. I looked at my bill and it just says "Basic Service" but thats most likely because I've had comcast for over 10 years. According to the channel lineup I get all the channels and features included with the "Digital Starter" package, which includes ESPN and "On Demand" from xfinity. And like I said, I can login to xfinitytv.comcast.net and get ESPN, ESPN2, etc. Are you telling me Xfinity users no longer receive the watchESPN access? What is ESPN On Demand? Is there someone I can chat with online? My problem doesn't seem to be in any specific category thats why I posted it here.

No but I don't know what number you attempted to call. I didn't think you had my information.
No solution yet. I haven't been contacted yet via the new number. Other forum posts regarding this problem do not have a solution.
