Watch TV remotely on Smart TV?

Purchased a Samsung Smart TV thinking I would be able to download the Xfinity App to watch TV remotely on my patio... similar to what can be done on ipad/tablet.  Unfortunately the Samsung Smart TV's don't support the app?  Are there other ways that I can watch TV remotely on a Smart TV wirelessly with Xfinity service?  Are there brands that supply Smart TVs that do support the Xfinity App?

Not at this time.. The xtv app is only available on Apple and android mobile devices and tablets.

When will this be available?  Thinking of returning the Smart TV because the potential for remote viewing of my xfinity cable was one of the main reason for purchase.  If these capabilities will be re-commisioned I may consider keeping.  Are you able to provide details on a possible return for this app?
