Vampire Diaries Recording / On Demand

Vampire Diaries Recording / On Demand

I recorded a Vampire Diaries episode last night and when I went to watch it today, the recording showed up like this:

http://prntscr.com/e4ltgq

No matter where I clicked on the recording, the screen remained this grey color. I could hear the audio, but I could see nothing. I moved on to see if the episode On Demand would work, but the same issue is occurring there.

Is there a way to fix this?

Sorry you are having trouble. I suspect you have a corrupt recording. You can confirm by checking the same recording on the XFINITY TV app for iOS/Android to see if the issue is the same.

As for the On Demand, that'd be very unusual to have the same issue with the recording and the On Demand. Are you sure you weren't playing back the recording when you though you were watching On Demand?  The recordings are available in the On Demand section of the website as well (assuming you have Cloud DVR).
