Upgrade HDDTA to a HD STB

Upgrade HDDTA to a HD STB

I have 1 HD TV connected by a HD STB. My other HD TV is only connected to a HDDTA. To get all the channels available to me on the secondary tv, I will need to swap out the HDDTA at $5.99/mo for another HD STB at $9.95/mo (so my monthly equipment costs will go up $3.96/mo.).

Is it possible to have the new HD STB sent to me and in turn I return the HDDTA or do I need to visit a Comcast office in person? If so, can I specify which HD STB I would like (a smaller size would be advantageous).

Re: Upgrade HDDTA to a HD STB

Thanks, Ken.

When I hadn't heard I went to the chat and was told there was a one-time $15 shipping charge. So, I went to my nearest service center and effected the change. Unfortunately, they are not all that close to my home as they closed the one I used to go to .

gkamieneski, I can send you the new HD STB in exchange for the HD DTA. I can even provide the return shipping for the DTA. Please send me a private message (Click ComcastKenF and then click Private Message Me) with your account address and full name for assistance.
