Unable to view TV or hear audio

After a recent Comcast service outage, we were able to reboot or otherwise get service running on all TVs and internet but the one TV that has the DVR connected to it. I am able to turn all units on, get the TV channel number in the upper left to show and advance, but no picture and no sound. I suspect that the DVR is malfunctioning but I am not sure enough of this to take it in to a Comcast service station. I need a house call.
