Unable to "record" from Android App

Unable to "record" from Android App

A couple of issues:

 

1) Xfinity TV App - no "Record" icon, "Set Default DVR" greyed out in settings. (This used to work just fine)

 

2) Trying to set up caller id - the TV says Error CID100 - I must have Digital TV and Digital Voice (which I do)

Try deleting the app and then installing it again. Let me know the results.

I'm having the same issue. this use to work fine, and works on my wife's iPhone, but no longer works for my android device. i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. i can also set the dvr through the web. any ideas?

Same problem on iOS devices. Reinstall does not fix.

Hi Joe,

 

My zip code is 02420.  Channel Lineup is set to "Comcast Recommended Lineup" and then it says "DAC: 166_52" below that.

Instead of using your Comcast Recommended Lineup, try manually selecting your service area and then try set a recording again.

Go here and tell me if your device appears under Available Devices. If so, try removing it and then load the app again and see if it works.

Thanks, Joe.  I tried that - my phone did appear, I removed it, logged out of the app and back in.  Unfortunately, this did not fix it.

Go to Settings > TV Settings and then select the box and try to test it and rename the box if possible and then try again.

I succesfully renamed the box, but no luck.  I also tried deactivating the other 2 boxes in my house.  I'm able to use the app to act as a remote control, but still no DVR functionality.
