Unable to connect to https://tv.xfinity.com

I am unable to connect to https://tv.xfinity.com on my Windows 10 PC. The connection keeps timing out.

I have tried Chrome, Firefox & Edge browsers but it doesn't make any difference. I disabled my Internet Security & Anti-Malware software but still am unable to connect.

Re: Unable to connect to https://tv.xfinity.com

I found the solution to my issue in an old thread.

http://forums.xfinity.com/t5/Xfinity-TV-Website/error-900-102100/m-p/2705790#M43245

I had to uncheck/disable ipv6 in my network adaptor settings. Seems as though using ipv6 was causing my problem. I will have to just use ipv4 for now. The https://tv.xfinity.com portal is working great now.

Thanks to noelpeace for his solution and to ComcastDan & everyone else who helped me troubleshoot my issue.

Re: Unable to connect to https://tv.xfinity.com

I am using Win 10 Chrome and I just clicked on your link and I was able to bring up the web site.

It sounds like you have some kind of network issue.  Are you able to access other Comcast/Xfinity web pages like

https://customer.xfinity.com/#/

https://customer.xfinity.com/#/settings/account

Re: Unable to connect to https://tv.xfinity.com

I like many people can access the customer service side of the site so that of course I can pay my bill.  Unfortunately many people are not able to access the tv parts of the site to actually watch the content we're paying so much for.

I can access every other website perfectly fine except https://tv.xfinity.com

I reset my Comcast supplied Cisco DPC3939 gateway/router a couple of times and evenually I was able to access https://tv.xfinity.com

However after rebooting the PC, I am no longer able to access https://tv.xfinity.com

Resetting the gateway everytime I want to access https://tv.xfinity.com is not an acceptable solution.

Re: Unable to connect to https://tv.xfinity.com

Have you checked all cable connections going to the router? Is it a WIFI modem/router?

How old is your modem/router?

Cable connections are fine. The gateway was installed by Comcast in late November 2014. Like I have said, every other website I have tried works perfectly fine except for https://tv.xfinity.com  So IMO this is not a cabling issue,

Re: Unable to connect to https://tv.xfinity.com

I just connected to the site using a link on your recent reply. It took me about 15 seconds. The problem is with your equipment.

Then explain to me why that is the only website that does not connect? Just because you can connect to the site from your location doesn't mean that Comcast isn't blocking something in my area.

If you think you are being blocked, maybe you should check to make sure Comcast shows your service and bill being correct for what you should be signed up for.

It has nothing to do with my bill. This is the new xfinity online tv website. I was able to access the old version perfectly fine and my service hasn't changed since then.

I can't view my xfinity TV page either. I get a bluish screen that says "Xfinity; Now connecting to your entertainment experience" with three dots that don't change. It just never loads.

I also can't view my Voice page. That is a blank blue page.

I'm running Windows 7 with a Maxthon browser. I CAN view them on Chrome, butI greatly prefer Maxthon. I have no problems with any other pages or sites. This also just started for me when Comcast "updated" their site

I would say the problem is definitely with Comcast. Who knows when they'll fix it!!??? Every day I get closer and closer to switching to VERIZON FIOS!

I'm sorry but Maxthon browser isn't officially supported so our QA department doesn't test against it and our engineers don't fix any defects specifically associated with it. Please see here for a list of system requirements:

Re: Unable to connect to https://tv.xfinity.com

What I am refering to is a specific HD service charge of about $10. that should be found on your statement. If it is missing you cannot use certains services.

In some service areas this charge was missing of some customers, and they did not get to use the service. I found one of these problems less than a week ago. The old site you mentioned did not pick up billing problems like this.

Yes I do pay for HD service as part of my package so I do not believe that is the issue.
