Two problems: Cannot complete HBO GO Access / Cannot get the DVR manager to work

Just moved. Have called Comcast twice (spent 30 minutes on hold before giving up the first time).

 

Three days ago, at our old place, we could access HBO GO, now we get the dreaded error ERR-36895 (even though we have a subscription).

 

Three days ago, at our old place, we could decide what programs to record via the Xfininty website. Now we get the dreaded error "DVR Manager is available in your area. However, we are 
unable to detect a compatible DVR in your household."

 

This seems like a common problem, but the person on the end of the help line had no idea what to do about it, beyond telling me someone would look into it and get back to me within 72 hours. Nor did she have any idea how the process of confirming your HBO GO access works via the Xfinity website.

 

All in all, a very disatisfactory experience thus far. We pay extraordinary prices to Comcast for better customer and technical service than this.

It is posible that when you moved you may have had a new user name assigned to your new account, Call customer service and verify your primary user name info, and login with your new id  and password .
