Trying to watch videos, keeps saying Error 400

I've already cleared my cookies and cache, signing out and back in, but it still won't work. What else can I do?

Re: Trying to watch videos, keeps saying Error 400

For the record, I turned off the firewall and checked my Silverlight, and it still made no difference in this site. On a hunch, I went on the HBO website, created an account linked to my subscription with comcast, and it works PERFECTLY. It's probably not the solution the company was looking for, but after trying for over a week, this is a huge relief. It may not work for everyone, but it worked for me!

There are a few videos working, but they have outside links, for example House (Hulu.com) and Supernatural (CW.com). What I am trying to watch are episodes from True Blood. HBO Subscription is valid. (3 months free with service activation)

Re: Trying to watch videos, keeps saying Error 400

ecallaghan,

Try using a different web browser and let me know if it works. This is not a permanent solution but it will help us narrow down your issue.

I have tried using Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox 7.0,  and Google Chrome. The same message still comes up

Re: Trying to watch videos, keeps saying Error 400

ecallaghan,

We would like to further look into this issue. Please:

  1. Recreate the error
  2. Provide us with a screenshot of the entire page when the error happens
  3. Provide us with the Shift+L output then hit the “1” key on your keyboard after you have hit Shift+L. The “1” key provides a “full debug”

You can private message me this information if it makes you feel more comfortable.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Thanks,
Joe
