The Xfinity TV (for X1 Customers) app is not working for my account

The Xfinity TV (for X1 Customers) app is not working for my account

Specifically it's the recordings that doesn't work. When I try to watch a recorded show there is no tab for me to click. I've tried a friend's account and his works on my phone. I was able to watch his recorded shows but I am unable to view mine. I definitely have X1 in my area and I think this is a problem with my account.

Have you had cloud DVR service rate codes added to your account?

I'm not entirely sure what that is, but i can see the app isn't showing the recordings tab so how do I have the codes added?
