TV to go iPad App won't finish download

I have been very frustrated with the Xfinity TV to go App.  Everytime I attempt to download a show from my recordings, it will begin downloading and at some point it stops and says "Awaiting Download".  There is a button that says start now to get it downloading again, but it doesn't.  It simply stays in the downloading que, unfinished.  Has anyone else had this problem and/or found a solution?  Thanks!
