TV to go experiencing difficulty only on tablet?

Ive gotten the app to work on my wifes android phone.  The onyl thing I can get it to do on our Galaxy tab 2 is tell me it is experiencing difficulty and not fully working..   I tried loging into 3rd party apps like disney Jr and get the error 400-1 message.  I just updated android so I know that is not the problem.   Ive installed and reinstalled abotu a dozen times, cleared cache data etc.    Im sure these 2 app errors are related but how do I fix it!
