TV listings times are incorrect

TV listings times are incorrect

I noticed last night that the TV listings on the Xfinity TV web site are not correction for my zip code and cable selection.

 

My zip code is 85755 and I selected Tucson/Pima Digital.

 

The times were correct last week.

On our TV listings page, click the Change link on top of the grid and re-enter your zip code. Right next to the zip code, there is a dropdown list of Time Zones. Re-select your timezone from the dropdown menu and then click the "Submit" button.

Your TV listings should now be correct.

 

Let me know the results.

I tried your suggestion. I reselected the zipcode, service area and time zone. I saved the selections. The times are still wrong. Arizona does not have Daylight Savings Time. Again the listing were fine until last night.

clear you cookies and your cache.  Restart and then try again.  the cookie that holds the info may have gotten corrupted.

OK I cleared the cookies and restarted the browser. The times are still incorrect. I tried 2 different browsers on 2 different pc's. All had the incorrect time for zip code 85755, Mountain time, and Pima / Tucson Digital service selected. I believe I already mentioned that this was working correctly before last night.

Try selecting Pacific as your timezone and let me know if that is correct.

 

If so, we will know what is wrong and we can fix it.

If I change the time zone to Pacific, the program listing times display in the correct time slot. Arizona is not in the Pacific Time Zone. Arizona observes Mountain Standard Time year round. The web page is broken for AZ. My Android tablet with the Comcast app displays the correct listing times for my area. I am looking forward to the page being fixed. Thanks for looking into this mattter.

The times display correctly if I change the time zone to Pacific.

This morning I checked the listings compared to my location and they are correct. Thank you. There are also changes to the TV listings page. Now I am baffled why I get the message below when I display the TV listings.

 

"Your timezone is not the same as the listings you're viewing. Change your computer clock to change the grid."

 

I have the correct Zipcode and service selected. My PC time is correct and I do not intend to change it.

My zip code is 85755 and my service is Pima / Tucson Digital. Yes I have reselected my information and saved it and don't bother to ask me to delete my browser history. 

 

BTW, I don't care for some of the changes to the TV Listings page.

Having an issue that is new (again) with TV listings reverting to another zip code and time zone,

 

no matter how many times we reset and save.  This has happened in the past and I thought it was fixed.

same for me also

always defaults to 19103 area code

61081 central time here

comcast phone support NO help runaround

 

maybe we should all move to philly so this isn't an issue??

 

Note: seems better if logged in BUT i don't want to have to log in each time to view listings.

was not a problem before sight "improvements"

Hi all,

 

Your TV Listings will not be saved unless you are signed in. If you are not signed in, zip code 19103 will appear every time you return to the TV Listings page.
