TV go app stopped functioning today for mobile user

I've been using the app to watch xfinity all over the country the last 4 weeks. Last night it worked fine, tonight it is buffering video constantly and will not show more than a second at a time. When I contacted the chat analyst I was informed that the app only functions on wifi or Verizon networks. If this is accurate, I'd be flabbergasted, and it would be another nail in the Comcast coffin for me.

Oh, and a quick search on Google play reviews of the app show an overwhelming number of people having exactly the same issue in the last 24 hours.

Problem still exists, and I have not seen even an acknowledgement from Comcast on anyone's post that it even exists.
