TV Stopped responding to remote control apps on ipad or online.


I have two tvs -  1 on dvr and 2 on regular box.


tv 1 on the dvr stopped working about a week ago from xfinity remote on my ipad.
Both boxes are recognized by the app but tv 1 will not work. It will not display its name in test mode.
Nor will the dvr respond.
After reading similar posts, I tried to fix it by editing my settings online from my pc.
Control tv was set to off. I changed it to on but it did not help.
In online settings, there is an option to idenntify your device name on the tv.
It would not work from there either, nor could  dvr be managed..
Is the box bad?
