TV Remote IPHONE App

TV Remote IPHONE App

Hello,
We have 3 set top boxes. 1 DVR and 2 RNG150's.
The remote app has worked for months now on the DVR and one of the RNG150.
We hooked up the other RNG150 yesterday on a new tv.
The Remote App sees and is able to control the original 2 boxes.
It sees the new RNG150 but says it is not eligible. Why does one RNG150 work perfect in the app and not the other RNG150?

Re: TV Remote IPHONE App

it can take up to 48 hours for the system to recognize a new box.

Re: TV Remote IPHONE App

After the first 48 hours and it does not show it as eligible call the app support team ask them to send a signal. Wait about 6-8 hours. Its extremely important that your box me never lose power because although the app may recognize the box it will not record or let you use it as an actually remote. You will have to go through this process again if you do lose power. But after you 8 hours are up do a clean install of the app (delete then re-install) and that should work. Hope that helps!
