TV APP

Am trying to watch on my new iPad. My wife and I are traveling. I downloaded app, but when I tried to use it, I got a message that the service was not available in my location. That seems odd, since my wife is sitting next to me and viewing CNBC on her laptop via xfinity. Who's kidding who? Oh, and I tried the chat feature with them and waited 20 minutes before I gave up

I believe the Xfinity TV app is for in home use only. That's why you get the message you're getting

Try the Xfinity TV GO app for a selection of live channels that are available to you.

  The TV App is only available for X1 customers, which is why your are getting that message.  Please try downloading the TV GO app to live stream select channels and watch On Demand content.    Or you can watch online at http://xfinitytv.comcast.net/  which is the equivalient of the TV Go app for PC/Mac's.
