Silverlight

Silverlight

Is there a substitute for Microsoft silverlight? I started out using version 4 of this silverlight. When I started having problems, I un-installed version 4 and installed version 5 (twice). The problem with videos still continues on this computer. I reinstalled my OS and downloaded Microsoft silverlight once more. I'm still getting error in regards to this.

The error code I get is 6013. I have silverlight enabled the ...DRM, and the problem still persists. I have also unchecked and rechecked this box, and problem is still there.

Re: Silverlight

clear your cookies and cache.  update java, make sure your not using ie9.  restart your computer.  I would not uninstall or reinstall the os that is very time consuming and not worth it.  Most times its a simple issue of your account not being set up correctly on comcasts end

Completely uninstall Silverlight from your computer and then click here to download Silverlight. Let me know how this version of Silverlight works for you.

Re: Silverlight

Hm- I had already done that before posting the question and despite the new install it hadn't worked . I just tried again (completely uninstalling, trashing the plug-in, emptying trash) and clicked on the link in the reply and this time it wouldn't even install-- gave me an error message that it couldn't because a newer version of Silverlight already existed. I did a search on the hard drive and there's absolutely nothing related to Silverlight anywhere on my laptop. Any ideas?

Look for a file named mspr.hds and delete it from your computer and then try again.
